The Disney Fire Protection District is a volunteer Fire Protection
District solely organized to protect life and property in the five-mile
area surrounding our Fire Station.
We utilize one Class "A" Pumper Truck, one Quick Response
Unit, one Grass Fire Truck, 1,800-gallon and 1,100-gallon Tanker
Units as needed to protect your property. Our volunteers undergo a
continuous training program to provide quick, adequate and thorough
coverage on any emergency call-out.
The ISO Commercial Risk Services has analyzed our department and
assigned a split Class 8/9 Rating. Insured property may therefore be
subject to a substantial reduction of insurance premiums.
While our firefighters give of their time without pay, department
operating costs continue to increase. At this time, however, we are
continuing our Annual Subscription Rate at $36.00 per dwelling unit.
Non-Member call-outs are billed with a $250.00 minimum.
Should the need arise, we back-up, and in turn provide back-up with
five surrounding Fire Districts through a mutual aid agreement.
